A Small AP Music Update

It's been a little while, and I wanted to share an update on my AP Music project.

While I originally started writing it in Coldfusion/CFML, since that's the language I have the most experience with, after I got my initial prototypes together I realized that would almost certainly limit it to a personal project. There's still a lot I like about CFML, but continuing that direction would be a self-imposed limitation. Ultimately, I'd love to get this to a point where others want to contribute and grow the application community, and that's not going to happen given how few people work with CFML today, and the limited hosting options available.

So, I took a step back, started evaluating my options, and decided to restart it as a Python project leveraging Django. While it will make for a better path forward for this project, it does involve a bit of a learning curve for me, meaning it will take longer to come together. Still, I think it's for the best, and I'm excited about what's to come.
